Get a Home Value Report A common mistake among home buyers, is thinking that being pre-qualified means they’re ready to purchase a home.   There is however, a major difference between being pre-qualified and being pre-approved.   A pre-qualification is something that a lender will send out to gather basic information about your income to qualify you for approval.   They’ll ask you questions about how much money you make and how much your car payment is, things of that nature.   They’ll also pull your credit and see how much credit you have.   This is great starting point in   the home buying process but a pre-qualification is just that, a starting point.   You’ll need a pre-approval before you can make a serious offer on any homes.  “   Every single seller today is going to want a pre-approval   ” For a pre-approval,

Get a Home Value Report I wanted to take some time to talk to you about an organization that we at the Matin Group are proud to support.   It’s called Project Lemonade and it is a charity here in Portland that provides support for foster youth in our area.   I feel that one of the biggest challenges our community faces, is sheltering displaced children and I’m proud to say that we’ve partnered with Project Lemonade. Project Lemonade, is a 501(c)3 non-profit whose mission is to: “Inspire self-esteem in foster youth.”   They do this by providing high quality clothing and everyday supplies to foster youth all around Oregon and Washington.   Though the program, foster youth have access to everything from shoes, shirts, socks, jackets, backpacks and everything in between.   We’ve chosen to help support the cause in a couple of ways.   “   One of the biggest challeng
